He is survived by: his wife Helen Brawley Steele; his daughter Teresa Anne Harrington Stewart; his grandchildren, Bryan Alan Stewart (Tammy), Joshua Raymond Stewart (Amanda) and Charity Rebecca Stewart; his great grandchildren, Gaige, Jayden, Trinity, Luke, Levi and Luna Rey; his great great grandchildren, Mariah, Melanie, Tiffany and Justice; his niece Sheila Gallman; and his brothers, Claude Steele, Robert Steele, William Steele, Ben Steele and Merdic Ray Steele.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Springdell Baptist Church (1420 Springdale Church Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
