We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2025, at the age of 78, Martha Kay Forbes Evans in Lancaster, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Heyward Evans; and her parents, Lon Forbes and Mildred Forbes. She is survived by: her children, Courtney Barron (Blake), Mary Evans, Robin White and Rusty Ruff; and her grandchildren, Carmella, Aliy, Koby (Allie), Karlee (Brady), Avery and Sydney.
A reception was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home (26 Underwood Ave, Great Falls, SC 29055).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenlawn Cemetery Association, PO Box 191, Great Falls, SC 29055.
