She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Herring and Mozelle Small Herring; her husband Reecie Pate; her son Mickey Pate; her brother Maxie Herring; her daughters, Susan Pate Adams (Chuck) of Surfside Beach, SC, Patty Pate Runion (Mike) of Simpsonville, SC and Teresa Pate Gardner (Jeff) of Chesterfield, SC; and her grandchildren, Chip Adams (Jordan), Paige Adams Strickland (Scott), Catherine Runion Atwood (Brent), Rebecca Runion Peterson (Scott), Anna Adams Burnette (Cagney), Andrew Runion (Megan), Pate Gardner (Adrianna), Cameron Gardner and Layne Gardner. She was also cherished by 18 great-grandchildren.
