We bid farewell to Mary Miller of Lancaster, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest W. Barrett and Vera Couch Barrett; and her siblings, Wayne Barrett, Dorothy Barrett Cox and Louise Barrett.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Barrett and Jean Barrett Bair; her husband James Dalton Miller; her children, Joel Martin Miller (Donna), Lori Miller Johnson (Rex) and James Albert Miller (Patty); her grandchildren, Crystal Miller Robinett (Jordan), Jeremy Scott Johnson (Ashley), Seth Martin Miller (Jessica), Jaime-Leigh Johnson Bailey (Jerel) and Marisa Miller Huneycutt (Cody); her great-niece Amanda Cox Ilisco; her great grandchildren, Landon Martin Miller, Hayden Charles Webb, Hallie Marie Webb, Holton James Webb, Josiah Reid Johnson, Jackson Munroe Huneycutt, Blaine Jerel Bailey, Lilly Miller Johnson, Stella Brielle Bailey, Emma Louise Huneycutt and Olivia Anne Huneycutt; her close friend Mary Brown Sistare; Natalie Deal Robinett and Nathan Parker Robinett. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law and son-in-law.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Baptist Church (1030 State Rd S-29-501, Lancaster, SC 29720).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that donations be made to Sherwood Baptist Church or Sheltered of Lancaster.
