He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Evin Mungo and Sadie Jeanette Faile Mungo; and his brother Evin Mungo. He is survived by: his wife Linda Mungo; his sons, Scott Mungo (Anna) and Jeff Mungo (Angie); his grandchildren, Jordan Mungo, Sara Mungo and Preston Mungo; and his siblings, Robbie Mungo (Glenda), Joe Mungo (Sandra), Phillip Mungo (Linda), Jenny Ellis, Kay Atkinson (Don), Susanne Workman (Eddie), Betsy Good, Polly Evans (Jeff) and Rachel Catoe (Barry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hyde Park Baptist Church (1898 Flat Creek Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at the Lancaster Memorial Park (1389 Memorial Park Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
