He was predeceased by: his parents, Othell Burton, Sr. and Tommie Jean Smith Burton; and his son Jacob Othell Burton. He is survived by: his wife Connie Love Burton; his daughter Jenny Marie Burton (Randall); and his sisters, Carolyn Burton Holcombe, Brenda Burton, Lori Chiodo and Vicky Kern.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jerry Hartley Funeral Home Chapel (684 Hubbard Dr, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery (2868 State Rd 46, Richburg, SC 29729).
