She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Walton Hamilton and Gertrude Coffey Hamilton; and her husband Michael Douglas Scruggs. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Scruggs Seebeck (Clay) of Moore, Mark Hamilton Scruggs (Marianne) of Winnipeg, Canada and Selena Crace (David) of Huber Heights, Ohio; her grandchildren, Tobias Hamilton Scruggs, Anna Blair Seebeck and Taylor Marie Scruggs; and her siblings-in-law, Guylene Burgess of Canton and Steve Sizemore (LaDonna) of Weaver, Alabama..
