With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Roberts Ray Austin of Lancaster, South Carolina, born in Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Travis Roberts and Nina Ellis Roberts; her husbands, Charles Wayne Ray and James W. Austin; and her children, Charles T. Ray, Greg Ray and Susan Michelle Ray Moore.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon "Shay" Ray of Lancaster; and her sister Evelyn McManus of Fort Mill. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
