He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph William McConnell Sr. and Arthelia Holler McConnell; and his brother Charles McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Teri McConnell; his children, Jeremy Morton of Charlotte, David Morton of Lancaster and Katie McConnell of Columbia; and his sisters, Danette McConnell of Pineville and Sonja Jacobs of Pineville. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, two nieces and eight great nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and tons of family friends.
