He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Simpson; his daughters, Caresha Wall (Kevin) of Raleigh, NC, Shakita Royster of Decatur, GA and Raschelle Simpson of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Cathy Simpson of Lancaster, Billy Simpson Jr. of Lancaster, SC, Jerry Simpson of Lancaster, SC and Chucky Stinson of Lancaster, SC; his grandchildren, Solomon Rainey of Raleigh, NC, D'Essence Rainey of Raleigh, NC, Khymari of Atlanta, GA, Josiah of Atlanta, GA, Elijah of Atlanta, GA, Amir of Atlanta, GA, Nasir Simpson of Atlanta, GA and Daniel Royster-Thomas of Decatur, GA; his great grandchild Samarah Harris of Greensburg, Pennsylvania; his great-aunt Nettie Mae Washington of Waxhaw, NC; and his nephew Adrian Adams of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home.
