He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Brasington and Jessie Leola Pate Brasington; his wife Lynda Brasington; his siblings, Wilson Brasington, James Brasington, Evelyn Blackwell, Cora Lee Blackwell and Willie Mae Cook; and his son-in-law Dale Denton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Brasington Williams (Ron), Donna K. Brasington Williams (Jimmy) and Renee B. Denton; his grandchildren, Lauren Savage (Luke), Kimberly Peterson (Josh), Kayla Hancock (Jonathan), Rubylyn Helms (Michael), Jimmy "Trey" Williams, III (Haley) and Elizabeth Montgomery (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Zoe Michelle Savage and Vera Maeve Savage; his grandchildren, Matthew Eason, Trent Eason, Joni Eason, Savannah Hancock, Kit Williams and Emma Gulledge; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carter Montgomery, Brantley Montgomery and Ally Montgomery; and his sister-in-law Joyce Brasington.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (1734 Antioch Church Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
