He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Gentry and Brenda Starnes Gentry; and his sister Tina Gentry. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Smart (Bradley) of Chester; his stepfather Bill Morris of Lancaster; his siblings, William Jack Morris, Jr. (Becky) of Lancaster, Josh Morris (Tiffany) of Heath Springs and Chantel Moss of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Chancee Smart, Ethan Smart, Aiden Meadows and Kaden Varnadore; and his caregiver Becky Morris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (1734 Antioch Church Road, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
