He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Lee Wyles and Dora Munns Wyles; his son Danny Ray Wyles; and his siblings, Freddie Wyles and Evelyn McSwain.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simpson Wyles; his daughters, Trina Wyles Mills (Huey Mills) of Lancaster and Robin Knight (Gary) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Brent Coley (Danielle), Anna Shaw (Thomas), Kayleigh Knight and Kaden Knight; his great grandchildren, Easton Shaw, Sadie Coley, Gunnar Coley, Rayna Shaw and Wrenlee Shaw; and his sisters, Helen Yarger (Nelson) of Florida and Jo Bennett (Bobby) of Fort Mill.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, at the church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 9112 Lancaster Hwy., Waxhaw, NC 28173.
