He was predeceased by : his parents, Nerving Dahl and Alma Dahl. He is survived by : his wife Eddee Dahl; his children, Mark Dahl (Laura) of Brookfield, Illinois and Lori Conway (Steve) of Waxhaw; his grandchildren, Marie Johnson-Dahl, Emma Dahl, Aidan Conway and Ellie Conway; and his sister Rhoda Myrvik (Don).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Lutheran Church (8523 Henry Harris Rd, Fort Mill, SC 29707). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Crossroads Lutheran Church to support food pantry ministries.
