He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Wilson Kersey and Gladys Wright Kersey; his son Roger David Kersey, Jr.; and his brothers, Linson Trey Kersey and Marvin Wayne Kersey.
He is survived by: his sons, Teddie Kersey (Brenda) of Lancaster and Freddie Kersey of Lancaster. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace FWB Church (1616 Alpha Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
