He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Robert Marshall, Sr. and Cora Baker Marshall; and his siblings, George, Boyce, Frank Marshall, Kathleen Harper, Myrtle Hagins, Ida Mae Ellis, Elizabeth Harper and Robbie White.

He is survived by: his wife Fran Marshall; his children, Randy, Andy, Barry Marshall and Lori Marshall (Rollins); his grandchildren, Daryn Marshall (Christina), Logan Marshall (Brandi), Carrie Marshall, Joel Rollins and Chase Rollins; his great grandchildren, McKinley, Trent, Parker, Abby, Greenlei and Ruthie Marshall; his sisters, Gladys Moore and Sara Griffin; and his sister-in-law Frances M. Marshall.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St Luke United Methodist Church, 128 Providence Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
