He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Ficarrotta and Josephine Bruno Ficarrotta; his wife Joan Ficarrotta; and his sisters, Josephine Fazzalari and Francesca Graziano.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent J. Ficarrotta, John Ficarrotta (Christine) and Diane Gileta (Steven); his grandchildren, Alessandra Young (Andrew), Steven Gileta (Nicole), Sophia Ficarrotta, Olivia Ficarrotta, Anthony Ficarrotta and Alex Ficarrotta; his great grandchildren, Abigail Joan Young and Adalynn Pearl Young; his sisters, Catherine Messina (Frank) and Angela Nuccio (Ralph); and his goddaughter Yolanda Fazzalari-Forcina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
