He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ware and Martha Hester Bird; his extended family Richard Cranston Bird; his aunts, Majorie Bird (Robert), Jeanne Dedarian Bird (Richard Bird) and Emily Hester McKenzie; his uncle Oren Taylor McKenzie; and his cousin David Price.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pamela Joan Bird (Lisa Purvis Bird) of Lancaster, SC and Kenneth Marshall Bird (Debbie Watson Bird) of Dacula, GA; his nieces, Rachael Bird Hamm and Jennifer Bird Bell (Ryan Bell); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lila Bell, Brooks Bell, Anthony Hamm, Jr. and Brantley Hamm; his uncle Robert Hutchings Bird; and his aunt Dorothy Bird Price (Leighton Price).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services (213 W Mountain St, Kernersville, NC 27284). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pierce Jefferson Funeral Home (970 W Mountain St, Kernersville, NC 27284).
