It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma M. Carruth of Landrum, South Carolina, who passed away on March 21, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Morris and Zelda McCrain Morris; her husband John James "Jack" Carruth, Jr.; her daughter Patricia Carruth Gordon; and her siblings, Bonnie Culbreth, Frances McDaniel, Leroy Morris and Donald Morris.
She is survived by: her sons, John James Carruth III (Tammy) of Landrum, Michael Lynn Carruth (Marianne) of Tryon and Steven Wayne Carruth (Beverly) of Spartanburg; her siblings, Nancy Ruff, Barbara Stott, Brenda Pack and Russell "Buddy" Morris; her grandchildren, Nicole Carruth Chapman (Jeff), Casey Carruth, Michael Lee Gordon, Graham Gordon, Joshua Carruth, Mattie Carruth (Erika), John Forrest "Jack" Carruth (Ariel), J. J. Carruth IV (Taylor), Garrison Carruth, Trevor Carruth (Sierra) and Katherine Hill (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Garret Walker (Katie), James Michael Carruth, Kaylee Gordon, William Carruth, Parker Carruth and Gryffin Carruth; and her close friend Estelle Abrams.
