He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dean and Gwenlyn Huss Butler. He is survived by: his wife Terry Butler; his sons, Jonathan Butler, Joseph Butler and Josh Butler; his siblings, Barry Butler, Bruce Butler, Melanie Campbell-Cobb and Byron Butler; and his granddaughter Morgen Butler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Petty Funeral Home (124 S 562, Landrum, SC 29356). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Petty Funeral Chapel (124 S 562, Landrum, SC 29356).
