She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. John Morgan Springs, Jr.; her parents, John Reyes Leon and Antoinette "Rose" Lopez Leon; her sister Mary Tupen; and her granddaughter Kendra C. Springs.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Carol S. King (James) of Campobello, SC and Dr. Clark L. Springs (Julia) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Isaac King, Cooper, Spencer and Sullivan Springs; her brother John R. Leon (Patricia) of Live Oak, CA; and her brother-in-law JimTupen.
