With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elton Phillips of Landrum, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Phillips and Sula White Phillips; his son James Belue; and his brothers, PeeWee Phillips and Lester Phillips.

He is survived by: his wife Angela Salmon Phillips; his children, Michelle Phillips (Mac), James Light (Anna), David Phillips (Kayla Edwards), Leah Phillips, Kelly Tkaczow (Marc), Felicia Belue and Cassie Bransen (Chad); his sister Merilyn Clements; and his daughter-in-law Angela Belue. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
