He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lacey Landers and Sara Elizabeth George Landers; his son Terry G. Landers; his granddaughter Jillian R. Landers; and his sister Iris Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Byler Landers; his son Larry Landers (Phyllis); his stepchildren, Anita Johnson Zimmerman (Jeff) and Barry Johnson (Lorie); his daughter-in-law Robin Landers; his grandchildren, Sara Landers McLaughlin (Jordan), Kaitlyn Landers Osborn (Michael), Mary Landers, Jessica Landers, Jamie Landers (Emily), Abby Zimmerman, Zoe Johnson and Zachary Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Waverly, Jak and Violet.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the The Mill (4455 Anderson Mill Rd, Moore, SC 29369). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
