He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Oxendine and Addie Locklear Oxendine; and his siblings, Henry Oxendine, Herbert Oxendine, Luther Oxendine, Vergie Locklear, Dora Lee Burns, Dottie Ruth Oxendine, Juanita Oxendine and Allie Rae Carver.
He is survived by: his grandson Kyle; his daughter Tanoa Taylor (Allen); his grandchild McKenzie Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Gibson Cooper, Karleigh Cooper, Kinsley Ussery and Kennedy Williams.
