James Conner Obituary
We announce the death of James Conner (Landrum, South Carolina), who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 74. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Catherine "Cathie" Suber Conner; his parents, John David and Irene Forrester Conner; and his siblings, Harold Conner, Jesse Conner, Olin Conner, Thalia Irene Conner, Hazel Conner Daniels and Juanita Conner Barnett.
He is survived by: his sons, Travis Conner (Jessica) of Landrum and Christopher Conner (Ashley) of Greer; his siblings, Dean Conner (Valarie) of Mauldin and Janette Fitzgerald of Myrtle Beach; and his grandchildren, Levi and Lela. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church (1919 SC-11, Landrum, SC 29356). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
