He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Burrell and Alice Calvert Burrell; and his sister Rethia Fowler. He is survived by: his sons, Joel Burrell (Lou) and Johnny Burrell (Carole); and his brother Jessie Burrell. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
