He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Schlueter; and his former wife Joan Baal. He is survived by: his father Max Heim; his teammate Bob; his wife Nancy Heim; his stepsons, David (Heidi), Steven (Florence) and Jonathan (Laura); his grandchildren, Erin Elizabeth (Nate), Graham, Leanne, Shannon, Lauren, Raeviona and Mikaiel; and his great grandchildren, Ricky and Noelle.
