She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Plumley and Annie Emery Plumley; her siblings, Grady, Carl, Boyd, Clyde, Betty and Bertha; and her son Calvin Lee.

She is survived by: her husband John Burrell; her children, Tommy Lee, Robert Lee, Virginia Lee and Paula Pop; her stepsons, Joel Burrell and Johnny Burrell; and her sister Bessie Moore. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four step grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
