She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Norris and Earline Pace Norris; her grandparents, Clayton, Ellen Pace and Alice Norris; and the father of her children Jerry Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Crystal Denton (Jason) and Justin Burns (Corrie); her siblings, Mike Norris (Susan), Jay Norris (Laura), Gail Atkins (Wayne), Lisa Good (Dennis) and Cindy Yarbrough (Scott); and her grandchildren, John, Aaden, Amelia, Maggie and Everett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church (368 Hickory Grove Church Rd, Columbus, NC 28722). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
