He is survived by: his son Michael Cantrell; his daughters-in-law, Cathy Cantrell of Landrum, SC and Mary Cantrell of Green Creek, NC; his grandchildren, Jessica Bren (Scott) and Mason Cantrell; his sisters, Connie Jean Gilbert (Fredrick) and Pat Cantrell; and his close friend Barbara Hall.
