He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther S. Hadden and Mildred Kimble Hadden; his son Robert S. Hadden; his stepsons, Carl E. Toole, Jr. and Danny L. Toole; and his siblings, Jerry Hadden, Franklin Hadden and Betty Jean Page.

He is survived by: his wife Millerdean "Melody" Hayes Hadden; his daughter Michelle Preece; and his stepchildren, Martha Ann Moyer and Pat Clayton.
