He is survived by: his father John Clark Carpenter; his siblings, Chesley Carpenter (Kris) and Debra Owens (Jerry); his children, Angel Carpenter, Gregory Carpenter Jr., Beth Johnson (Julian) and Wesley Carpenter (Benita); and his grandchildren, Matthew Standridge (Zoie), Aiden Hollows, DJ Smiley, Wyatt Hollows, Darius Smiley and Christopher Johnson.
