It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ellen Baxter (Langley, South Carolina), who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Jo may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jo Ann Jones and Robert Jones; her sisters, Robin Jones (Stacy), Melanie Walter and Nicole Day; and her brother-in-law Ronnie Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Michael Baxter (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Haylie Baxter and Abigail Baxter; and her great grandchild Haven Riner. She is also survived by her family, especially her granddaughters and great granddaughter.
