It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Lane of Latta, South Carolina, born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion Hyatt and Nancy Hyatt; and her nephews, Malcolm Miller, James Hyatt and Wayne Powers.

She is survived by : her daughter Lee Lillard (Steve); her grandchildren, Andrew Lillard, Hannah Lillard, Megan Lillard and Gigi; her siblings, Faye Hyatt Miller of Latta, Janice H Powers (Billy) of Latta, Sylvia Hyatt Powers of Latta, Diane Anderson of Latta, Danny Hyatt of Latta, Sandra Hyatt Hardwick of Latta, Sharon Hyatt Anderson (Ollie) of Florence, Clyde Hyatt (Barbara) of Chesterfield, SC and Ronald Hyatt (Sylvia) of Hamlet, NC.; and her former life partner Paul Gagnon of Latta. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
