We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2025, at the age of 83, Clifton Amariah Sparks of Latta, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walton Sparks and Coy Mae Bridges; his sons, Clifton Sparks Jr., Timothy and George Samuel (Clifton Jr.); his grandchildren, Heather, Jessica and Sterling; his daughter Elizabeth Echels; and his grandchildren, David, Christopher, Amanda, Scott and Joshua.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Sparks of Latta; his stepdaughter Kathy Fore of Florence; his stepgrandsons, Nolan and Nicholas; his daughter Sarah Thompson (Mark); his grandchildren, Mark Jr., Justin, Kayla, Katelyn, Sarah and Marks; and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Kinsley, Harper, Pheonix and Erin.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the New Life Worship Center (2470 US-301, Dillon, SC 29536).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Life Adult Sunday School Class Outreach Program, 2470 Highway 301 S., Dillon, SC 29536.
