She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Covarrubias of Latta and Lorie Tyler of Latta; her siblings, Charlie Jackson (Lisa Howard), Judy Mendoza, Barbara Collins (Boyd Collins), Nancy Lara Moreno, Felipe Lara Moreno_ and Janie Oates (O'Neal Oates); her grandchildren, Nicolas Gonon (Summer Wright), Mitchell K. Oates (Irene Williams), Michael Nolan (Kristen Nolan), Stephany Oates, Selena Covarrubias (Tony Alford) and Lucia Covarrubias; her great grandchildren, Rojelio Montero, Kalani Streeter, Damian Nolan, Madalynn Nolan, Shyanne Nolan and Weston Alford; and her adoptive daughter Chanda Pryblack (Joey).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at the Resthaven Cemetery (34 Haymount Rd, Latta, SC 29565).
