She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Keel and Ruby Price Keel; and her husband Jerry Clifton Byrd. She is survived by: her son Christopher Skinner (Nicole Noel) of Farmville, NC; her grandsons, Caleb Skinner, Lucas Skinner, Caden Hall, Ethan Skinner, Jacob Skinner and Hudson Skinner; her siblings, Lee Keel and Debra Vincent; and her siblings-in-law, Ellen Godbold of Latta, Florence Weatherford (Henry) of Latta, Dawn Peacock (Steven) of Latta, Georgia Rouse (Jeff) of Greenville, NC and Berry Byrd (Elizabeth) of Latta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (405 Mt Calvary Rd, Dillon, SC 29536).
