He was predeceased by : his parents, Buck Lane and Ruby Taylor Lane; and his siblings, Leonard Lane, Barbara Ann Lane Massey and Opal Lane.

He is survived by : his daughters, Brenda Brazzle (Brian) of Chesapeake, VA and Beverly Lane of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Chad Walker of Chesapeake, VA, Joshua Albertson of Thomasville, NC and Lauren Mininni of Lexington, NC; his great grandchildren, Jarrett Albertson, Makson Albertson, Jennifer Walker, Kaydence Mininni and Laynie Mininni; and his brothers, Elbert Lane of Dillon County, SC. and Clarence Lane of Dillon County, SC..
