She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred T. Seay and Elsie Parris Seay; her brothers, Wade Dixon Seay and Jerry Seay; and her in-laws, Joe and Nivy Childress.
She is survived by: her children, Jeri Manley (Randy), Monty Childress (Tina) and Scott Childress; her grandchildren, Brooke Benjamin (John Walter), Heather Gaillard (Adam), Ben Childress (Maddie Hall), Amber Childress Ives (Geoffrey), Cole Childress (Olivia Martin), Dawn Tyre (Mac) and Leslie Werts (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Kylie Gaillard, Audre Gaillard, Sawyer Childress, Autumn Werts and Savannah Werts; her grandchildren, Aiden and Alex Graddick; and her great grandchild Laurie West.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church (499 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Laurens, SC 29360).
