He is survived by: his wife Lois Gibson; his children, John Paul Gibson of Lancaster, CA, Thomas Coffia (Allison) of Lawrenceville, GA, Heather Lee Doyle of Cedar Rapids, IA and Karime Bryant (Alex) of Philadelphia, MS; his siblings, Wayne Gibson of Greenwood, Larry Gibson (Sharon) of Whitmire and Sue Wilkerson of Whitmire; and his grandchildren, Octavia Bryant, Allen Doyle, Kynzie Doyle and Emmalee Doyle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
