Brown; her mother Willie Mae Cheeks; and her siblings, Reverend Charles Williams (Kenya), Reverend James Cheeks (Helen), Michael Cheeks (Crystal), Johnny Cheeks, Ricky Cheeks, Anthony Cheeks (Carlene), Clara Simpson, Juanita Williams, Katherine Suttles (James), Pamela Cheeks, Barbara Cheeks, Minister Patricia Washington and Mary Louise Rice (Thaddues). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul First Baptist Church (216 E Hampton Ave, Laurens, SC 29360).
