She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles Ruff, Jr. and Donna Sue Skinner; her siblings, Brian Ruff, Kevin Tallent, Sherri Crawford and Mike Ruff; and her stepson Corey Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband Don Ellis; her children, Lacey Smith (Billy) of Mooresboro, NC and Kerith Martin of Greenville, SC; her granddaughter Arlie Smith; her pet Tripp Martin; her siblings, Kim Spangler (Scott) of Shelby, NC, Angel Maxwell (Wayne) of Mooresboro, NC, Kenny Tallent (Joyce) of Mooresboro, NC, Linda Sprouse (Mike) of Forest City, NC, Marty Ruff (Paula) of Forest City, NC and Sandi Thomas (Jimmy) of Cliffside, NC; and her stepchildren, Kayla and Casey.
