She was predeceased by : her husband Sherwood David Burton; her parents, Lonnie Hartman and Lillie Myrtle Eardhart Hartman; and her daughters, Kathy Rogers and Rita Woodward.

She is survived by : her children, David Joel Burton of Laurens, Lakeish Burton of Laurens, Carolyn Cromer of Laurens and Jean Holland of Tennessee. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
