He is survived by : his daughters, Sarah Coleman Malatesta (Nick) of Lexington and Kate Coleman McGowan (West) of San Diego, CA; his grandsons, Will and Walker Malatesta; his brothers, George Coleman (Linda) of Greenwood and Jim Coleman (Nancy) of Laurens; his mother-in-law Jean Davis of Laurens; and his sister-in-law Chandra Coleman of Clinton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to New Prospect Baptist Church or to New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4996 Hwy 221 South, Laurens, SC 29360.
