He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert L. Holbert and Gertrude Calvert Holbert; and his siblings, Carzell Holbert, Claude Holbert, Curtis Holbert, Helen Louise Frazier, Norma Jean Hamilton and Gaynelle Holbert.
