It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Edward Rogers Sr. of Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite Brannon Rogers; his parents, Cleatus Rogers and Elsie Hyatt Rogers; and his sister Pat Root. He is survived by: his children, Eddie Rogers (Tahnee) and Lisa Simmons (Clayton); his grandchildren, Oneil Abercrombie (Andalib), John Abercrombie, Riley Rogers, Hank Rogers, Luke Rogers, Brent Simmons and Hunter Simmons (Madeline); and his great grandchildren, Isla Abercrombie and Joseph Simmons.
