He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Davis Sexton, Sr. and Margaret Hartsell Sexton Quattlebaum; and his brother Wes Sexton. He is survived by: his sons, Jack Davis Sexton, III (Lonna) of Simpsonville and Anthony Keith Sexton of Simpsonville; his grandson Parker Davis Sexton of Simpsonville; and his brothers, Boyd Sexton of Piedmont, Ralph Sexton (Susan) of Gray Court, Tom Sexton (Cathey) of Gainesville, GA and Rob Sexton (Kathy) of Clemson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Presbyterian Community of South Carolina Foundation, 2817 Ashland Road, Columbia, SC 29210.
