Janice Marie Hall Moates Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 76, Janice Marie Hall Moates of Laurens, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Flynn "Mike" Moates; her parents, Benjamin Hall, Jr. and Maudie Parker Hall; and her siblings, Judy Walker and Mark Hall.
She is survived by: her son Jason Moates (Erin); her grandson Avery Moates; her sisters, Rachel Nelson and Pheobe Rumfelt (Ricky); and her sisters-in-law, Vicki Smith (Gordon), Lib Hill and Roberta Hall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (885 State Rd S-30-82, Laurens, SC 29360). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Final Resting Place Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (885 State Rd S-30-82, Laurens, SC 29360).
