She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wesley Phillips and Ruth Phillips (Adams); her husband Derle E. Shoemaker; her sons, William Howard Shoemaker and Timothy Shoemaker; her grandson Connor Ferraro; and her siblings, Leroy Phillips, T. Wesley Phillips, Benjamin F. Phillips and Martha Stroble.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Jane Boyer (Clair) of Laurens, SC; her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Holly Shoemaker, John Kudrysch and April Ferraro; her great grandchildren, Zachery Ferraro and John Charles Shoemaker; her stepgrandchildren, Becky and Gabe Wright; and her sister Mary Jane Baker (George Grant Baker, III) of Rome, PA..
