She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Joseph and Helen Hickey Picklesimer; her sons, Howard Eugene Bumgardner and Kenneth Dean Bumgardner; her siblings, Ralph Picklesimer, Bill Picklesimer, Jack Picklesimer, Spud Picklesimer, Estella David and Judy Picklesimer; and her grandson Adam Ray Bumgardner.

She is survived by : her children, Donald "Donnie" Bumgardner (Kay) of Laurens, Patrick "Nicky" Bumgardner of Laurens, Christie Newman (Jody) of Columbia and Joanna Bass of Rock Hill. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at 4628 Riverfork Road, Waterloo, SC.
